Sometimes, I get crippled by this urge to at least try to
attain perfection in my work. I get so terrified of screwing up, I end up not
starting anything at all or I abandon personal pieces midway. But mistakes can
be crucial for growth, at times inevitable when practicing. But hey, that’s
where learning comes in.
So here’s a late night doodle to console and
remind myself that it’s okay to make and enjoy “bad” art once in a while.
I used a random gel pen lying around (as shown
in the photo) and directly doodled on my sketchbook.

Instead of perfection, I now try to aim for personal
satisfaction in my works. Makes the whole process a little less draining and a lot more entertaining.
